Description:
The Santa Barbara News-Press is seeking part-time/full-time creative, self-motivated, detail-oriented designer, copy editor and writer for its award winning Sports section. Ideal candidates will have superior design skills, solid copy-editing skills, a keen awareness of deadlines and experience on a daily sports desk. Duties will include designing sports pages, writing, reporting, editing local and wire copy, distribution of content over multi-platforms and handling agate. The News-Press uses InDesign-based PageSpeed 5.5. The schedule and hours will vary.
