Transport, Logistics Controller, Other, Durban City. Company Name: SSI. Integrated Waste Management and Recycling firm looking for a logistics and control room supervisor (full time).

Requirements: Past experience in directing trucks in and around the Durban region. Mechanical knowledge to check vehicles before they leave for the day and to liase with the mechanic and management over work that needs to be down on the trucks. Good management skills to control a team of +- 10 vehicles, drivers and assistants. Needs to be timeous and consistent (+- 11 working days per a fortnight).

Needs to be technologically inclined to check camera, tracking, in-coming order and mapping systems throughout the day. Will require good communication skills and to be in constant communication with yard supervisors and the teams on the road.

Date: Start immediately on a probationary basis, then permanently if job requirements are met.
