Production Worker (fork lift operator)
Terms of Employment: Seasonal, Full Time, Shift, Day, Night, Evening
Salary: $13.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Clarksburg, Ontario (1 vacancy)
Skill Requirements:
Education: Some high school, Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Forklift Operator Certification
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Work Setting: Fruit and vegetable processing plant, Food and beverage plant
Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Specific Skills: Clean work areas and equipment, Check products and packaging for basic quality defects
Additional Skills: Food safety/handling skills
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, Hand-eye co-ordination
Work Site Environment: Cold/refrigerated
Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Valid driver's licence
Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Writing, Communication, Job task planning and organizing
Other Information:fall season only - 10 weeks
