An established and well-known company based in Randburg that operates nationally, has an excellent opportunity for a Mid Senior Accountant to join their dynamic financial team. The successful candidate will assist the Operational Director in overseeing junior staff, managing client relations and ensuring timely completion of workflows. Minimum of 2 – 3 years’ experience.

Responsibility You will be responsible for the following: General accounting functions and a working knowledge of accounting software (Sage One, Xero). Monthly data capturing and allocations. Reconciliation of bank accounts. Management accounts, budget and cashflows preparation and maintenance.

General Accounting Functions. Preparation of annual financial statements. Reporting all records to Directors and senior managers. Assistance with audits. Submitting statutory returns to SARS. Handling SARS Disputes and queries. Maintain a high level of service to clients.

Qualifications: Matric/Grade 12 Certificate. Bachelor Degree in B.Com / B.Acc / B.Compt(Accounting). 2-3 Years accounting experience. Xero / Sage One / Draft Worx will be adv. Must be fully bilingual English & Afrikaans.

Skills: Good communication skills and able to work well with a diverse team. Deadline orientated and work well under pressure. Strong attention to detail. Excellent time management skills.
