Security Supervisor, Umhlanga, North Suburbs. Company Name: IBV.

We are looking to recruit an experienced Security Supervisor for our Durban facility. The right candidate will have previous supervisory/managerial experience and preferably have a military or police background.

The Security Supervisor will be required to work 8hrs p/d, 6 days per week with a day off on rotation. The salary offered will be dependent on experience and qualifications

Key Responsibilities: Upholding integrity through group policy & procedure. Ensure contractual requirements are met by all third-party suppliers. Maintaining good relations between Service providers and the Company with regard to services rendered.

Supervising the supplier Security team to ensure duties are diligently carried out to the highest standard and in accordance with SSOP’s. Coaching & development of the supplier security team. Conducting security awareness training with staff members. Conducting 6 monthly appraisals with the security team members. Performing risk surveys and submitting recommendations to the Group Security Manager regarding potential risks and mitigation. Conduct ongoing penetration testing and submitting the relevant reports to the Group Security Manager.

Conduct ongoing emergency testing and submitting the relevant reports to the Group Security Manager. Dealing with all required administration matters. Liaising daily with the Group Security Manager on various operational issues/concerns. Submitting weekly / monthly reports as required. Maintaining SSOP’s. Investigations.

Qualifications: Minimum 3yrs previous experience in security supervisory/management position. Computer literate, Word, XL and Outlook. Clear ITC score. PSIRA registered. No prior criminal record Preferred: Ex-Military or Police preferred. Own firearm. Previously worked in a corporate and operational environment.
