Role   Summary:

The Manager provides support and leadership, ensuring that customer and NLC requirements are met and exceeded.

Education:

Completed post-secondary   education from a recognized Canadian Institute or its equivalent.

Experience:

      Three years’ experience required in employment   services or related field
      Demonstrated leadership experience
      Tracking, monitoring, understanding and   analyzing data for continuous improvement
      Managing the overall performance of a team
      Business development and/or proposal writing

Required   Skills:

      Successful problem-solving, planning,   decision-making, and time-management skills
      Coaching methodologies to lead teams and   implement change
      Support team and team members to achieve   weekly/monthly targets
      Excellent verbal communication demonstrated   through everyday dealings with team, clients, and customers
      Hiring, onboarding and training new staff
      Able to work closely with Project Coordinator   on budget expenditures
      Strong administrative and organizational   skills
      Intermediate user of Microsoft Office (Word,   Excel, Outlook)
      French language is an asset.

Knowledge:

      Basic understanding of computer networks,   hardware, and office equipment
      Knowledge of the local and provincial labour   markets
      Knowledge of community and government   resources available to clients
      General knowledge of Employment and Human   Resources Legislation and practices considered an asset

Hours and Duration:

40 hours per week, Monday to   Friday 8:30-4:30 subject to change.

Occasional travel is required.

Hourly Rate:   Team Leader pay scale applies.
