Apprentice Plumber (2nd Yr & 4th Yr Apprentice Plumber)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Overtime, Weekend, Day
Salary: $24.00 to $35.00 Hourly for 70 hours per week, Group Insurance Benefits

Skill Requirements:
Education: Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Plumber Trade Certification, 3rd Period Apprentice, 4th Period Apprentice, Driver's License (Class 3 or D)
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Major Work Area: Construction

Type of Piping: Plastic, Copper, Stainless steel
Specific Skills: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications, Install, repair and maintain plumbing fixtures and systems, Locate and mark position of pipe connections, holes and fixtures, Cut holes to accommodate pipes and fittings, Measure, cut, bend and thread pipes in place, Join pipes with couplings, clamps, screws, bolts or cement, Solder or braze piping, Inspect and test pipes for leaks, Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing, Select and install pumps, Weld pipes, Weld pipes using silfoss, Maintain and operate hoisting and rigging equipment
Own Tools/Equipment: Tools, Safety equipment/gear, Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat
Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to travel, Travel expenses paid by employer
Work Location Information: Staff accommodation available, Room and board provided, Various locations, Willing to relocate
