Assistant Front Office Manager, Receptionist at 5 Guesthouse, Stellenbosch, Cape Winelands, Company Name: WedgeView Country House and Spa. We are looking to employ a young and energetic assistant front office manager/receptionist at our 5* Guesthouse/Boutique Hotel in the middle of the vineyards in Vlottenburg, approx. 7 km from Stellenbosch.

Requirements: Must have passed Matric and a degree or diploma in Hospitality preferable or  1-2 years Experience in the Front Office department/Reception in a recognizable establishment would be an advantage. Good Communicator and team player. Fully computer literate in MS Word and Excel and knowledge of the Roomraccoon Reservation system is an advantage. Fluent in English. Knowledge of Afrikaans, Dutch, and/or German would be an advantage. Prepared to work shifts and weekends and public holidays. Must have a valid Driver’s license and own vehicle and reside in or near Stellenbosch

Good sense of attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure and consistently meet the requirements of the position. Assist in supervising and managing staff such as interns, housekeepers and maintenance workers and waitering experience in a restaurant or coffee shop is an advantage. Energetic, punctual, honest, intelligent and be willing to undertake a variety of tasks associated with the running of a large and busy guest house.
