Warehouse Administrator (Consumables) position available at a dynamic company based in Diep River.  Salary is R 8 900 CTC per month and is based on past experience. The applicant must be able to work well under pressure, be able to multi-task, handle a lot of admin work and must be physically fit / strong.  The person must have a valid drivers license code 8 / code B – no car is required.

Objectives: To control and record the movement of stock in and out of the stores. To ensure a high quality of work, service, and a high level of efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities, but not limited to: Control the movement of all consumables into technician’s van stocks on the system and into our JHB Branch Store. Ensure that the workshop door and all areas housing stock are secured at all times and locked up end of the day. Attend to all the filing generated by the stores. Attend to updating of spread sheets daily for driver’s delivery/collections schedules, internal PODs, and vehicle data spreadsheet. Update Purchase Order File with accurate record of stock received and back-orders with ETA’s.

Creating of Purchase Orders for ordering of stock for Head Office and JHB Office. Ensure Stock Levels are kept at optimal levels especially for fast moving consumables. Assist technicians with consumables and spares requests via email, 2 ways systems app and workshop. Sourcing of consumables and liaising with current and new suppliers. Liaising with service department and clients with updates on consumables orders and back-order ETA’s. Receiving stock and checking correct stock was received according to purchase order and delivery note / tax invoice. Labelling of stock and packing away of consumables, spares, PABX and equipment. Picking stock for driver’s daily deliveries, internal staff, or client collections.

Generating quotations for clients or dealers for consumables. Arranging collections with clients for empty toners from Recycle email group. Boxing of stock and online booking for couriers to collect/deliver stock to or from clients and suppliers. Update service department and technicians with service priority list for consumables.

Assisting with weekly mini stock takes and investigating of any discrepancies. To assist with the preparation and financial year end stock take. Ensure all stock of consumables, spares and equipment has company paperwork and double checked before it leaves the building. Assist with Ad hoc tasks like deliveries, and collections. Ensure that when consumables are faulty, it gets returned to suppliers for credit.

Prompt arrival and departure to and from the workplace. Attend to Warehouse Admin (Spares) duties when necessary. Attend to Warehouse Admin (Receiving/Despatch) duties when necessary. To adhere to company  Stores Policy and Procedures. To adhere to company dress code. Please email CV to apply.
