We require an energetic person with lots of initiative to assist with documenting our food safety and quality management systems. This includes ensuring that all required paperwork is in place to monitor food safety.

Requirements & Skills: Proven experience as a safety officer. Must have Food experience - essential!

Exposure to food safety systems and QA. In-depth knowledge of legislation (e.g. OSHA) and procedures. Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices. Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety. Responsible for procedures and monitoring forms. Proficient in MS Office; Working knowledge of safety management information systems is a plus. Outstanding organizational skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics.

Certificate in occupational health and safety – advantage. Experience in an FMCG environment focused on food safety. HACCP and FSSC 22000 experience would be an advantage. Good administration skills and thoroughness and attention to detail. Able to work well with others. Document control. Sorting, storing and retrieving electronic and hard copy documents. Producing document progress reports. Conducting internal audits. Labelling templates and spec sheets. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent.
