Introduction: We are a well-established Property Management company with offices in Amanzimtoti and Mount Edgecombe. We manage commercial and residential properties in Sectional Title, Home Owner Association and Share Block schemes. We are urgently seeking an Assistant Portfolio Manager to join our team.

Experience and Qualifications: Grade 12 qualification; Tertiary education in accounting advantageous; Paddocks certificate in Sectional Title Scheme Management advantageous; Minimum 3 to 5 years property management experience; Experience in compiling Residential and/or Commercial Body Corporate Budgets; Experience in drafting minutes of trustee meetings, AGM, SGM meetings; Fluent in English and able to communicate in a professional manner; Good knowledge of the STSM Act and CSOS Act; Good knowledge of the POPI Act; Must be available to work in the evenings to attend trustee meetings, AGM’s and/or SGM’s. Must have own car and valid driver’s licence.

Duties & Responsibilities: Administration of residential and commercial properties in gated community schemes; Attend to insurance matters – claims, annual reviews; Attending AGM/SGM Meetings; Attending Trustee Meetings; Budgeting including ability to calculate minimum requirements for Reserve Fund; Compliancy of schemes with SARS, CSOS, COIDA, Dept Labour, Insurance, Fire equipment, valuation of common property; Customer care and service / dealing with queries; Employee HR and administration; Enforcement of Conduct and other rules; Inspection of properties; Maintaining and developing client database; Managing Credit Control.

Prepare audit packs for schemes’ auditors, Pro-active property management, Procurement, obtaining quotations, liaising with contractors.
