Requirements: Matric certificate. Own reliable transport. Minimum of 3 years shipping experience in the meat industry will be an advantage. Ability to multi task. Ability to work under pressure. Computer experience - knowledge of Pastel Evolution will be advantageous.

Responsibility Duties will include: Applying for import permits. Inspection of all shipping and import documents (BOH, Health certificate) to ensure accuracy. Tracking of shipments. Liasing with the local Department of Agriculture to ensure goods are sampled and tested timeously. Obtaining vet releases timeously. Complete handling of the logistics of the containers. Liasing with shipping agents and the cold store to ensure containers are removed from ports timeously. Liasing with foreign suppliers to ensure goods depart timeously. Calculate landed costs of goods arriving in SA.
