Skills Required for this position: Red Seal Electrical License with over 8 years post qualification experience. Your cv need to confirm your commitment to your previous employers, through years of service. Demonstrate previous management experiences within the electrical field. Provide evidence of at least 3 solid years of supervisor/ management experience. A Wiremans License or Masters License is advantageous for this position. Provide evidence of supervising/ managing jobs for a company and/ or evidence are working on numerous small projects (less than R2million per project) simultaneously. You need to have excellent English communication skills and be computer literate as we are a paperless company.

Job Description: Reporting directly to the Operations Manager you will ensure your team meet their targets. The targets include, SLA management, Procurement of materials and equipment, Health and safety requirements, client and company procedures. You will be assisted by the Operations Controllers to ensure targets are met. Your time will be split 50/50 between the field and office.

In the field you will be (but not limited to): attending to your own work orders, any investigation requirements, quote requests, team training and mentorship, Quality control, signing off work orders, site meetings with clients for larger projects and managing teams. You will be required to work on weekends and live out as and when required.

In the office you will be (but not limited to): drawing up and submitting quotes, attending to technical or investigation reports, allocating work orders to your team, assisting with training (especially Gap cover training), signing of work orders for invoicing, assisting with material and stock procurement, negotiating prices with suppliers, ensuring teams are meeting their targets.

You will be rotating on a national standby to provide support as and when required to your electricians throughout the country. Our offices are in Kempton Park but due to this position being split between the office and field you can be living in the Pretoria or Roodeport areas. You do have the ability to work from home on an ADHOC bases. You will be provided with a company vehicle for work purposes
