Internal Sales Assistant / R 25 000 - R 30 000 / Parow, Northern Suburbs, Company Name: CERA Recruitment Agency. Established Company with offices located in Parow is looking for a Full time Internal Sales Assistant in Parow to fulfill the following task to give a few examples.

DUTIES INCLUDE (but not limited to): Sales – the Internal Salesman will be required to assist customer face-to-face or telephonically in order to meet their requirements. The Internal Salesman will assist with marketing by informing customers of specials as well as promoting current product lines. Sales back-orders will be required to be updated on a daily basis.

Customer Service – the Internal Salesman will be required to provide excellent customer service by offering advice and quotations on products that will meet their requirements. The Internal Salesman will keep customers up to date with any queries on orders they may have placed for out-of-stock items, and to monitor, track and advise customers of expected arrival dates thereof.

Administration – the Internal Salesman will have to keep track of customer information as well as keep record of their claims and refunds. The Internal Salesman will have to report and keep record of any customer queries to his line manager to ensure they can be resolved timeously. Duties will also include daily tracking of lost sales due to out-of-stock or never-stocked situations.

Other – Assist with stock-take twice a year. The Internal Salesman will also be required to attend training and sales meetings and occasional weekend events

Requirements and Skills, Matric or equivalent, Valid driver’s license, 5+ years Sales experience in Automotive/Auto Electrical part sales. Teamwork. Effective communication. Being able to follow instructions. Time management and focus on quality. Excellent telephone manner and experience in manning two or more telephones.

Proficient with automotive catalogues, online as well as hard copy. PC skills with regards to MS EXCEL, WORD, OUTLOOK. Excellent communication of problems. Solutions and sales opportunities. Excellent telephone manner and experience in manning two or more telephones. Interpersonal skills to interact with customers face to face. Constant awareness of industry standards and trends. Strong problem-solving skills.
