Junior Salesperson, Buyer, Eastern Pretoria, Pretoria / Tshwane. A small to medium company based in Pretoria East is looking for a Junior Salesperson/Buyer to assist in a start up operation at their premises in Watloo.

Candidate must have: Driver’s licence Code 10 ( non negotiable). Minimum  1 year of continuous driving. Minimum minimum tertiary qualification certificate ( Diploma desirable) in Supply Chain , Logistics , Commerce , Marketing/Sales or a technical field such as Civil/ Plumbing etc. Minimum one year experience in buying/sales/marketing of goods especially hardware , food commodities etc. Must be very computer literate ( word, excel). Must have excellent working knowledge of accounting and stock management  systems e.g. pastel or similar.

Good experience with driving sales targets and stick management. Duties: Identifying markets, clients and their needs. Identifying and generating product mix. Coming up with sales, promotion and advertising plan. Identifying suppliers and sourcing products from them as well as managing the relationship. Ensuring margins and volumes are achieved. Stock Management. General staff management. Attending to meetings , tenders/ quotes etc.

Driving profitably of the operations. Supervising debtors and creditors process. Suppliers and Clients relationships management. Sourcing and development of new markets. We offer a salary of R8,500 to R12,500 depending on experience.
