The job description is set out as follows: Attend to and keep tidy the garden and lawn (which is cut by garden service once a week). Plant or remove plants on occasion. Clean and maintain the swimming pool. Wash cars and boat. Clean outside patios and deck. Remove dogs waste from the lawn. Take out bins on given days and clean them afterwards. Pack and unpack boat and fishing tackle. General maintenance and handyman work. To clean the braai and BBQ grids. Clear gutters from leaves. Wash windows outside. Driving around to drop or collect items when required. Act as a chauffeur on occasion. General tasks if required.

The minimum requirements for the job is as follows: Read, write and speak fluent English. South African residence or a valid work permit if you are a foreigner. A valid South African driver’s license and minimum 3 years driving experience. Police clearance and references. Good physical health. Relevant previous experience. Basic knowledge of household and power tools. To be available for work on occasional Saturdays.

Working hours, remuneration and contract conditions will be as follows: Fixed working hours of 3 days per week (Mo,We,Fri) from 08h00 to 16h00 @ R5000.00 per month.

Additional days (when required) @ R400 per day and R600 for a Saturday.

Driving / chauffeur jobs @ R600 per day (for 8 hours maximum) if outside of fixed working hours and R50 per hour additional if more than 8 hours.

There will be no commitment from your employer regarding the frequency of additional working days. No accommodation, transport or meals will be provided. Requests for loans or salary advances will not be entertained. Annual paid leave of 15 working days per year. A 13th salary cheque (bonus) equal to the average monthly amount earned for the previous 12 months is envisaged if you excel in your work.
