Core purpose of the role: Internal sales & online store sales assistant. To manage the full function of the retail outlet. To manage online store sales. Should have a comprehensive understanding of sales. Counter Sales & Cash Up. Being responsible for processing cash and card payments. Manage refunds and returned items. Processing cash and card payments. Balancing cash registers with receipts. Dealing with customer refunds. Respond to telephone and internet queries. Processing invoices and receipts for online orders. Quoting  / invoicing and following up on quotes. Stock take once a month ( One Saturday per month). Organize and dispatch daily customer orders.

Arranging dispatch of online orders timeously. Managing drivers and shop assistant. Managing and stocking shelves with merchandise. Respond to telephone and internet queries and ensure effective communication is taken and maintain customer service levels. Carry out duties to help support The Box Shop’s vision and mission in line with the Company’s core values

Should be physically fit as the job requires standing, walking, lifting & carrying of stock as and when required. Keeping the store tidy and clean, this includes hovering and mopping if need be. Responsible for dealing with customer complaints. Receiving and storing the delivery of large amounts of stock. Should have own transport to get to work Should stay close to work in the following areas preferably Edenvale / Greenstone / Bedfordview / Kensington / Germiston / Kempton Park / Boksburg.

Comfortable working with members of the public. Be prepared to work as a team and independently. Display a “can do, will do, happy to do” winning attitude. Remuneration and Hours Salary: R7 000 – R10 000 dependent on candidate’s experience.

Annual Leave:  20 days per annum (including December compulsory shutdown) Hours:  Monday – Friday 08h00 – 16h30; Saturdays 09h00 – 13h00
