We have vacancies for SAIPA Trainee Accountants with real commitment, a strong work ethic, a willingness to develop expertise, creativity, and a can-do attitude.  We will also consider someone who wants to change firms and continue with SAIPA or someone with completed SAICA/ SAIPA articles.

Responsibilities may include: Be part of a team under the supervision of Seniors and Manager. Capture transactions in accounting records and payroll. Perform reconciliations. Perform bookkeeping to trial balance. Interpreting clients’ accounting records and compiling annual financial statements (IFRS for SME’). Perform tax calculations and complete income tax returns and provisional tax returns. Perform VAT and PAYE calculations in order to submit returns on E-filing. Assist accountants with various client matters, including administrative work. Resolve queries. Performing tasks required in terms of the SAIPA competency framework. Any other tasks related to the role as a SAIPA Trainee Accountant.

Qualifications: SAIPA Accredited accounting qualification. Company individual tax knowledge advantageous. Previous experience in a similar environment will be advantageous. Highly computer literate in MS Office. Sage One & Caseware experience will be advantageous. Valid driver's license and Own transport.

Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Deadline orientated and work well under pressure. Attention to detail. Must be able to work independently or within a team environment. Must be able to work under pressure. Salary Based on qualifications and previous experience.
