CNC (Computer Numerical Control) lathe operator - metal machining
Terms of Employment: Temporary, Full Time, Night, Evening
Salary: $16.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week

Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Work Setting: Manufacturing plant

Type of General Machine Tools: Engine lathes
Type of Repetitive Machining Operation Experience: Turning
Specific Skills: Operate and set up machines to perform repetitive machining operations, Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers), Prepare etching solution and immerse metal parts or workpiece into the etching solution to remove unwanted portions
Weight Handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Manual dexterity
Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Own vehicle
