IT Administration Support Engineer, Umhlanga, North Suburbs. Company Name: Recharger. Recharger Prepaid Meters is looking to employ an experienced & qualified IT Administrator - based at their Head Office in Durban, Kwazulu Natal.
You will be responsible for but not limited to: IT Network Management (must have experience in networking, cabling, switches, firewalls, Wireless, etc).Software (installation and support). Servers and Workstations (Manage, Maintain, Report and troubleshooting, etc.)Virtual Machine Manage (create, configure, maintain, troubleshoot) (HyperV, VMware)Printer & consumables manage (installation, troubleshooting and maintenance). VOIP (Good understanding on IP Phones, PBX, IRV, routing). Server Administration (Domain, DNS, DHCP, Group policies, Active directory).
Good Knowledge on Network devices (Switches, Routers, Firewall (FortiGate)). IP Addressing (Understand IP, types & classes, subnet mask, VLANS.) CCTV Monitoring and troubleshooting (liaise with the provider). Backups (creating and maintaining where required). IT Assets management (Asset tagging, adding to register, etc). Application Administration SSO, CRM (learn, create & manage user access app).End User desktop support (Computers, hardware, software (Operating system, Office, apps, etc).
ISP Manage with 3rd party providers. Google Workspace (Administer). Web domains (will manage company domains, SSL certificate, liaise with provider if needed).External Providers (liaise with, facilitate, request on high priority tasks).Basic knowledge on web development (HTML, CSS, ect.) Antivirus & Security. Understanding and passion for the industry. Ability to work independently and within a team.
Responsibility: Degree or Diploma in Information technology or relevant qualification advantageous.
