We’re looking for an experienced Sales Representative for our client in the manufacturing industry. Our client has been around for 33 years and prides itself on providing a high level of compliance and getting things done right the first time around.

As the Sales Representative, you bring a strong ability for self-motivation, you have a bubbly, energetic presence and you are an outgoing individual. You have a proven track record of success, and are driven to consistently, achieve and exceed set sales targets. You are a natural networker and are able to build and maintain professional business relationships to ensure future sales. 

Role Responsibilities: Actively service existing client base face to face on a monthly, quarterly, biannual and annual basis. Actively source new clients. Keep updated with the opposition’s clients, who they supply and what they supply. Ensure emails, orders, costings and quotes get done timeously. Generation of reports as requested i.e., monthly stock holding report is required on the 15th of the month. Ensure daily admin follow up on client visits, quotes, costings etc.

Assist with collections when required. Assist with delivery issues and account issues. General office assistance when required ie., assisting with walk-in clients, telephonic queries, load orders, and assisting with general office admin. Attend weekly meetings. On the job training which includes time spent in the factory understanding the manufacturing process as well as building knowledge on all information on the company and products.

Role Requirements: Ability to cold call on new business is essential. (Having your own client base in the industry is advantageous). Preferably familiar and experienced with the manufacturer, supplier environment. Preferably familiar and experienced in the packaging or agri industry and dealing with buyers in this industry. Strong admin skills with great attention to detail. Strong networking ability. Strong relationship building skills and ability to get along with colleagues, clients, and team members.

Computer Literate: Outlook, Excel, Palmate, Anydesk, and Bluwave (training will be provided for Palmate & Bluwave). Bilingual in English and Afrikaans. Location: Northern Suburbs, Blackheath. Full time / Permanent.
