iScript.health is looking for a Sonographer to work Part-time in our Marshalltown, Johannesburg practice. ?Our preferred day of work is every Saturday - based on number of patients booked.

Key Performance Areas: Provide high quality ultrasound services according to the patients needs. To promote good health practices and ensure optimal patient care. Execute all ultrasound procedure completely to prevent complications. Provide general administrative duties as required. Provide guidance and supervision to junior staff and students.

Participate in institutional radiographic policy making and planning for service delivery. Give factual information to patients and clients on ultrasound examinations. Participate in organizational Quality Assurance, Quality Improvement programmes and Core Standards. Inspect and use equipment professionally to ensure that they comply with safety standards. Develop protocols to ensure that sonographic services comply with the required prescripts. Participate in ultrasound quality assurance programmes. Participate in Continued Professional Development (CPD) programmes.

Qualification Minimum Requirements: A Three (3) year National Diploma or B. Tech Degree in Diagnostic and Acts. Registration certificates as a Sonographer with HPCSA. Proof of Current Registration with HPCSA as a Sonographer (2022-2023). Proof of current and previous work

Experience: Knowledge, Skills, Training and Competence Required?. Sound knowledge of ultrasound procedures. Knowledge of relevant Health & Safety policies, regulations and Acts. Knowledge of Quality Assurance procedure and methods. Sound communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, teaching and training skills.
