We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Junior Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic marketing team. As a Junior Marketing Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our marketing efforts to expand our brand awareness, engage with customers, and drive growth.

Responsibilities: Assist in the planning, execution, and evaluation of marketing campaigns across various marketing channels and e-commerce sites, including Facebook (Ads Manager, Pages, Business Suite), Google My Business, TikTok (Business Suite), Bobshop (formerly Bid or Buy), Instagram, Gumtree, Takealot, Shopify website, WooCommerce website, Amazon, Bash.com, Game, Evershop, Makro, and others. Coordinate and assist with marketing projects, including content creation, social media management, email marketing, and events. Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to create compelling visual and written materials for a variety of platforms, including social media, blog posts, and promotional materials.

Assist with Monitoring and analyzing marketing metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize campaign performance. Conduct market research to support strategic decision-making and identify new opportunities. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitive landscape, and best practices in marketing. Assist with communications, messages, and inquiries from customers and partners across various digital channels, ensuring timely and professional responses. Support administrative tasks related to marketing. Assist with and close online sales, ensuring a seamless customer experience from initial inquiry to final purchase and follow-up.

Requirements: Matric. 1-2 years of experience in marketing is a plus. Has an understanding of marketing principles and tactics, including digital marketing, content creation, and social media management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, and Excel. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt style and tone to various audiences. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Creative problem solver with the ability to think strategically and analytically. Knowledge of marketing analytics tools is a plus. Basic design skills and experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
