Well known company based in Centurion, is looking for an energetic and positive natured individual to be part of their professional team. The desired candidate should have a pleasant personality, as this is also a customer service role. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position. You will have a minimum of 2 – 3 years’ experience.

As the Office Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for the company and customer service is your top priority. You will welcome guests and greet people who visit the business as well as coordinate front-desk activities, including assisting and distributing correspondence, obtaining customer orders, understanding and interpreting customer requirements and redirecting phone calls. 

Responsibility You will be responsible for: Responsible for the general office maintenance. Ensure that all office defects and faults are attended to as and when they become relevant. Attend to any complaints from staff regarding the building both from a rented space and common building area, that affects our staff. Ensuring that the offices are well always maintained and clean as well as ensuring that the cleaners are managed to maintain this aspect. Ensuring that the office space always meets the company standard with constant monitoring for hygiene and appearance.

Office Refreshments: Tablet and Cell phone Repairs. Responsible for the issuing of stationery. Responsible for the issuing of office requirements to new employees (access tags, alarm codes, if relevant, stationery, workstations). Ensuring that the equipment in the office is in a working order. Monitoring all office relevant suppliers. Requesting of quotes per request for existing vendors. Arranging for the courier to various regions. General office assistance.

Assisting with recons and Finance process for regional functions, client meetings and Social Committee functions. Monthly consumable recon. Monthly stationery recon. Printer paper usage, water, key, and tag recon. Arrangement for all travel requirements including, but not limited to, accommodation, flights and car hire. The travel request template will be provided based on the travel requirements from the relevant persons requiring the travel.

Education: Matric. Diploma / Certificate (Office Administration / Personal Assistant / Secretarial). Highly Computer Literate MS Office. Experience from a personal assistant background will be adv. Drivers License.

Skills: Fully bilingual -English and Afrikaans with good communication and interpersonal skills. Solid written and verbal communication skills.

Attention to detail: Deadline orientated and time management. Self-motivated and results driven. Ability to multi-task. Ability to work under pressure. Friendly and bubbly personality.
