Security Guard (Security Professional)
Terms of Employment: Casual, Part Time, On Call, Shift, Weekend, Day, Night, Evening
Salary: $11.00 to $12.00 Hourly for 20 hours per week, Medical Benefits, Dental Benefits, Life Insurance Benefits, Group Insurance Benefits, RRSP Benefits

Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Security Guard Licence, CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate
Experience: Experience an asset
Work Setting: Private security agency
Type of Assignments: Fixed post, Foot patrol, Patrol post
Specific Skills: Enforce regulations of establishments, Resolve conflict situations, Use telecommunications (i.e. two-way radio, cell phone, pager), Follow radio and emergency telephone procedures, Monitor security television, Ensure safety and emergency procedures are followed, Attend to persons with special needs, Respond to alarms, bomb threats and other emergencies, Detect or prevent thefts and vandalism, Write reports, Appear in court as witness
Security and Safety: Basic security clearance, Enhanced reliability security clearance, Secret clearance, Criminal record check, Driving record check (abstract)
Own Tools/Equipment: Uniform
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, Attention to detail, Sitting, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods, Walking
Work Site Environment: Outdoors
Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Valid driver's licence
