An opportunity to work for a firmly entrenched local Company in the Techco space. The Pre-Sales Engineer role entails, amongst others, aligning with specified technologies, design and build of accurate technology configurations and solutions by studying and understanding partner technologies. You should be comfortable working in high paced environments and interacting with customers at Senior Management and Executive level.

The ideal candidate must have the following attributes: Computer Degree / Diploma or A+. Knowledge of relevant brand products and process. Knowledge of information management industry in South Africa. Knowledge of IT Industry. Technical knowledge of OEM products and GTM. Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail with numbers. Demonstrated confidentiality. Demonstrated ability towards business intelligence. Emotional Intelligence. Adhere to all policies and procedures that are implemented by the Company. Certify on OEM-Brand required products sets. Ability to deliver on service level agreements.

Minimum Experience: 8 years Storage & Networking experience. 5 years Dell hp or Lenovo Enterprise technical implementation experience. 5 years Dell HP or Lenovo Enterprise pre-sales experience.

Nice-to-have Skills: Technical Architect or IE (Implementation Engineer) certification. Consulting skills. Architecting skills.

Additional Skills: Strong Self Motivational and Empowerment skills. Strong Communication Skills. Strong Relationship and Self-Management Skills. Takes Initiative. Works well with all kinds of people. Remains calm under pressure. Excellent international business language skills (English), both written and verbal. Speaking Xhosa will be an advantage. Reliable transport to and from the office.

Salary: Negotiable + comms
