Technical Manager/Stellenbosch- Our client, a well established company in the property industry has a vacancy for Technical Manager. Overview: Assist, implement and manage systems to best support the rendering of efficient Technical Service delivery environment to customers.

Ensure that outputs are maintained and/or delivered as per the respective service level agreements (SLA’s), management contracts, planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules and service specifications for Technical Services.

Plan and execute all technical related projects, or assist and guide FM’s and other staff throughout the project lifecycle.

Monitor and report on service provider performance, progress of open tickets, execution of PPM’s, equipment performance and replacement strategies, budget vs actual, new technologies, project progress, risks and opportunities on a monthly basis to National Facilities Manager.

Requirements  / Experience: Grade 12. Appropriate tertiary technical related education and experience are essential. Minimum of 10 years relevant experience or the equivalent knowledge & skills. PPM scheduling and execution of maintenance plans. Lifecycle analysis and replacement strategies.

Condition assessments: Project Management skills that include condition assessments, property due diligence and asset replacement projects. MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook & MDA. PPM and Asset Management system(s). OHS Act.

Quality Management ISO 9001; 14001 & 18001 – Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Standards.

Objectives: Review status of current Technical Management strategy within the company Portfolio and together with the NFM formulate a new Technical Management strategy and policy. Implement an efficient and cost effective Technical Management strategy. Effective Management of Technical Management service offering, service providers and/or in-house staff. Establish good customer and service provider relationships across all levels. Provide accurate monthly financial and PPM performance and technical related reports as required by the NFM. ISO 9001; 14001 & 18001 – Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Standards.

Salary - Basic Salary will depend on experience. Undertakings - Criminal and Credit Check.
