Structural commercial design engineering business, specializing in export to Botswana and Lesotho requires the services of a part / full-time multidisciplinary person who resides in the Lonehill/Fourways area. This is a three-monthly renewable contract position. Candidates should have a minimum of 15 years of experience in bookkeeping / secretarial and general office administration. 

The post would suit a hands-on / pro-active person able to single-handedly manage our local office based in Lonehill. All other service providers and sub-contractors operate remotely.

Duties would include Bookkeeping to Trial Balance or Balance Sheet. Job costing. Preparation of quotations. Logistics. Communication with remote workers. Client liaison. As this is an export business clients are based in bordering countries and thus communication is either via email or telephone. Factory communication. General administrative duties. Secretary/PA to the owner. Computer literacy and a sound knowledge of Excel is essential.
