Debtors Clerk, Brackenfell, Northern Suburbs. Company Name: Britos Meat Pty Ltd. A well-known and leading meat manufacturing company requires a debtors clerk to join their dynamic debtors teams.

Minimum requirements for the role: Matric is essential for this role. Diploma in accounting or bookkeeping or related qualification is preferred but not essential. Previous experience having worked in a debtor’s role is preferred for the role. Minimum of 5 Years. Computer literacy is essential with good working knowledge of Microsoft packages. Must be able to work in a team environment and follow policies and procedures. Must have basic excel experience as the successful candidate will be working on spreadsheets etc.

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to: Capturing all invoices and credit notes accurately. Prepare Customer Statements. Receiving all proof of payments and remittances and receipts and then allocate accurately. Reporting on late and overdue accounts, as per schedule. Updating, monitoring and reconciling all information daily. Generating age analysis reports weekly. Assisting with queries from customers and staff. Follow up and manage overdue accounts with Customers. Liaise with Debt Recovering Agency. Perform credit checks on potential new customers. An expressive motivational letter and a strong CV with relevant references is required.
