The responsibilities of the job incumbent include the following functions: Ensure that the production, preparation, and presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times. Be responsible for stock and control of wastage, according to company standards.

Know and apply to restaurant and company policies and procedures for health and safety · Assist the Executive Chef and Chef de Partie in the fulfilment of his/her duties in order to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen. Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies to drive sales and profitability.

The ideal job incumbent must adhere to the following person specifications: Diploma in culinary arts or related field. Minimum of 2 years working experience as a Demi Chef de Partie. Computer literacy (MS Word and MS Excel). Detail orientated. Excellent communication (English & Afrikaans). Able to multitask and work under pressure. Demonstrate ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work flexible hours, including evening and weekends.

Stress tolerance, Trustworthy, Team player, Must be able to grow and develop a team through training and development of skills. A market related salary is offered.
