Mechanical design engineer (Mining)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Day
Salary: $80,000.00 to $90,000.00 Yearly for 40 hours per week, Bonus, Group Insurance Benefits

Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of university
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association
Experience: 5 years or more
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Area of Specialization: Hydraulics and fluids, Materials handling, Mobile equipment, Robotics or controls, Rotating equipment tools, Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC)
Specific Skills: Conduct research into the feasibility, design, operation and performance of mechanisms, components and systems, Design power plants, machines and equipment, Analyze dynamics and vibrations of mechanical systems and structures
Work Experience: Research and development, Quality assurance or control, CAD software (computer assisted software)
Work Setting: Manufacturing or processing industry
Project and Personnel Management Skills: Management research projects, Financial or budget management, Multidisciplinary projects co-ordination, Preparing or evaluating technical proposals, Technical writing and article/report authoring
Computer an Technology Knowledge: Windows, Hardware, Intranet, Servers, File management software, Word processing software, Spreadsheet software, Presentation software, Mail server software, Electronic scheduling software, CAD software (computer assisted software)
