The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the recording and oversight of all daily transactions and cash books, overseeing the company's asset register and balance sheet, and ensuring that all financial data is captured in accordance with the correct International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Additionally, the successful candidate will work closely with a team of warehouse managers and accounting employees to ensure the seamless execution of financial operations.

Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the recording of daily financial transactions and cash books. Maintain the company's asset register and balance sheet. Ensure that all financial data is accurately captured in compliance with IFRS standards. Collaborate with warehouse managers and accounting employees to facilitate smooth operations. Prepare input data for financial reports and statements for review by senior management. Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures. Conduct periodic audits to ensure financial compliance and identify any discrepancies. Provide support during internal and external audits.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of IFRS standards and their application in financial reporting. Proficiency in accounting software, specifically Sage. Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with various stakeholders. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Prior experience working with warehouse operations is a plus.
