Oversee the Law Firm’s internal and regulatory compliance programs, and will develop, implement, and maintain policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure the Firm adheres to the requirements of all applicable laws and regulations, industry standards, and risk management practices. This role will support and advise finance, operations in the evaluation and development of effective compliance internal controls, monitoring-testing, issues management, program governance, and process improvements. To monitor and provide oversight on the adherence to compliance practices to ensure compliance risks are managed and reported. Must have in depth understanding of POPI and PAIA

Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in law, Business Administration, or Finance. Post Graduate Diploma: Risk Management or Compliance Management. Compliance Institute of South Africa (CISA) - preferred, not essential. Previous work history in similar role of at least three to five years. Must have experience in a law firm. Knowledge and understanding of compliance standards and policies, audit techniques, regulatory issue.
