Our client is a well established accounting firm in Stellenbosch, and has a vacancy for an AFS Preparer/Reviewer, to join their team remotely. The candidate should possess a high level of qualifications and extensive experience, ensuring the effectiveness of remote work. This criterion is essential for the successful execution of responsibilities in a remote work environment. It is important to note that this is a remote working position, and not flexy hours. The client will expect the candidate to be available Mondays to Fridays, during office hours. There can be some flexibility with prior arrangement with management.

Minimum Requirements & Qualities: A recognized degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. Professional qualification such as CA (SA), PA (SA), ACCA or CIMA. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in preparing Annual Financial Statements. Proficiency in using Case Ware software essential, Previous experience in using Xero will be advantageous, Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines,

Duties (Including but not limited to): Prepare accurate and compliant annual financial statements in accordance with the latest legislation. Ensure that all financial statements are aligned with the requirements of the relevant legislation. Collaborate with internal teams and clients to gather necessary financial information and documentation. Utilize CaseWare software to create, Independently Review, and finalize financial statements. Stay updated on changes in legislation and accounting standards that may impact financial statement preparation. Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all financial statements prepared.
