Handyman, Caretaker, East London, Eastern Cape, Company Name: Work Africa Recruitment. Our client in the Property Industry is looking to appoint a Handyman and Caretaker. The Caretaker role will also be basic repairs and more grounds-based ie: simple gardening etc.

Requirements: Valid Code 08 Drivers license and own transport. Must be skilled in basic maintenance ie: fixing doors, cupboards, and basic carpentry, installing plugs, basic electrical, painting, and general maintenance work. Ability to follow instructions and keep all job cards in order. Job stability is crucial – no job hopping. Behavioural Competency. Ability to work independently inside and outside with power tools etc.

Reliable, honest, and trustworthy. Strong communication skills in English. Must be hands-on operationally. Of sober habits.

Salary: up to R9,000 (depending on experience)
