Experienced Female Barista / Cafe All-Rounder in Parkhurst, Johannesburg. Company Name: Yippee Yay Café.
We are looking to hire an experienced barista and Café all-rounder who is friendly, hardworking, honest, has excellent communication and social skills to assist with the day-to-day operations of a family-friendly café in Parkhurst.

Responsibilities: Greeting guests, showing them to tables. Processing payments using a Yoco card machine. Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks such as coffee, tea, milkshakes, freezos, crushers. Cleaning and sanitising work areas (the kitchen, cafe, play areas, and bathroom). Interacting with the children. Ensuring that the café is clean and well-presented at all times, both interior and exterior. Taking inventory of cafe supplies. Ordering, receiving, and distributing café stock supplies. Assisting with setting up, and preparing food, for parties held at the café on the weekends.

Requirements: Proven experience in the hospitality industry (specifically as a Barista). Previous experience with children is an advantage. Knowledge about food and coffee. Excellent organisational and management skills. Exceptional customer service skills. Reliable with a clean Criminal and credit record. Ability to work under pressure and must have a high tolerance for a busy environment. Honesty Is Essential.

Job Hours: 50 per week (Tuesday - Sunday)

Salary: R6,000.00 basic per month + tips
