Restaurant Chef, Port Edward, South Coast (Ugu). We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and competent chef to run our new restaurant kitchen near Glenmore on the KZN lower south coast. Attention to detail is a must, as is demonstrated culinary expertise. We want someone with creativity and passion to help us produce innovative dishes and enhance the overall experience for our customers.
The successful candidate will have the following: Passion for food! Experience in a professional kitchen environment. A culinary diploma or degree from a recognized institution would be advantageous. Familiarity with hygiene and safety regulations in the kitchen. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Excellent time management and multitasking abilities. The ability to develop and plan menus. Establish recipes and food purchase specifications. Commitment to producing quality food with outstanding presentation skills. Reliability, commitment, positivity, and a can-do attitude.
