Housekeeper, Pinelands, Cape Town. Full-time live-in position for housekeeper with some childcare duties, based in Pinelands, CPT, to start asap (around 24 March). Must be experienced, hard-working, intelligent, literate, responsible, and pro-active. Non-smoker, non-drinker.

Duties include: child care when children are not at daycare, house cleaning, laundry and ironing, basic food preparation, general care of the house and property (for example, must be willing to learn how to change gas bottles and how to look after the pool, etc). Around 45 hours per week, day, usually spread out between 06h00-21h00 with long break during the day (unless the children are sick and home from school). Exact days and times will vary, as the mother works irregular day/night shifts. Working days/times and off-days will be scheduled in line with mother’s shifts. Must have references. Must have valid permit (if not SA citizen).
