Building Maintenance Worker (/grounds maintenance)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Part Time leading Full Time, On Call, Weekend, Day, Evening
Salary: $13.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Minto, New Brunswick (1 vacancy)
Skill Requirements:
Education: Some high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not applicable, Not required
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Work Setting: Health care facility
Specific Maintenance Activities: Sweep, mop, scrub and wax floors, Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on plumbing systems, Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies, Paint, Perform routine maintenance jobs and repairs, Work with minimal supervision
Equipment Operated/Used: Polishing machines, Power tools, Power lawn mowers, Small tractors (lawn/snow removal attachments), Snowblowers
Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Driver's validity licence check
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Bending, crouching, kneeling
Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence, Travel expenses not paid by employer, Public transportation is not available
