The College is currently seeking two suitably experienced teachers to join the College from Term 2 for the remainder of 2024 with ongoing employment. Position: Primary School Teachers. Organisational Relationship: Responsible to the Head of Primary School. Employment Basis: Full-Time, Contract, Commencing as soon as possible. Location: Pakenham, VIC 3810. Classification: Lutheran Education Victoria, New South Wales, Tasmania Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2018 and the National Employment Standards.

Key Selection Criteria: The applicant for the position is required to provide evidence of skills and experience that demonstrates; An active Christian faith and willingness to uphold the ethos of the Lutheran Church of Australia. Evidence of capacity to contribute to, and uphold, the positive Lakeside College staff culture. Ability to select and use a wide range of contemporary teaching and assessment strategies to suit the needs of a diverse range of students in line with the College teaching and learning philosophy.
Best practice in curriculum development and implementation, evaluation and assessment and management of teaching and learning activities. Capacity to reflect critically upon their professional practice. Highly developed ability to establish and develop positive and constructive relationships with students, staff, parents and members of the wider community. Excellent communication skills
Commitment and capacity to actively contribute to a broad range of school activities as a member of the College team. Demonstrated ability to uphold a Childsafe culture.
