This is a great opportunity for you to develop your data entry and payroll administration skills whilst your company’s payroll team transitions – you will be ensuring the payroll team keep on task with their payroll process improvement procedures. This is a short-term assignment that is likely to extend or go permanent.
Your new role:
The client is seeking a payroll officer who is capable of the following: All onboarding and off boarding payroll processes. Knowledge of time sheeting payroll processes. Manually implementing timesheet data via a major ERP software. Assist managing small multiple pay runs across a few entities. Potentially assist with testing of ERP TandA upgrade and ensure leave and payroll time sheeting processes.
What you'll need to succeed: Have a high, proficient understanding of EBA’s and Awards. Previous experience in payroll teams doing medium volume weekly payruns via a major TandA software. Initiative, resilience and a can-do attitude to meet deadlines, learn processes and work within a team environment. All-round communications skills written and spoken.
