The role: This Government Agency is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join the team on a 4 months’ contract with possible extensions. The role is based in the CBD.

Responsibilities: Undertake a range of financial management, purchasing, asset and administration transactional activities. Maintain accurate computer and manual management information. Explain rules, procedures and policies to colleagues and stakeholders. Provide a high level of customer service and assist other staff when required.

Required: Experience working as an Accounts Payable Officer / Finance Officer. Experience in Government is highly desirable. Knowledge of Finance / Accounting concepts. Experience using Oracle - highly regarded.
