Fuel Oil Truck Driver (Fuel Delivery Driver)
Terms of Employment: Seasonal, Full Time, On Call, Shift, Weekend, Day
Salary: $16.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Driver's Licence (Class 1 or A), Driver's Licence (Class 3 or D), Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Type of Trucking and Equipment: Straight truck (4,600kg+ or 10,000lbs+ with 3+ axles), Liquid bulk
Type of Travel: Short-haul, Local
Documentation Knowledge: Driver logbook, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip)
Communication Equipment Experience: Cellular phone, Satellite tracking (GPS) equipment
Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Specific Skills: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, Loading and unloading of goods, Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo, Receive and relay information to central dispatcher, Transport hazardous products or dangerous goods, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment, Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness
Additional Skills: Professionalism in customer service, Handle inquiries from customers
Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Driving record check (abstract), Drug test
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding
Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence
