Cafe Manager, Toucan Coffee Upper Coomera. Upper Coomera, Gold Coast QLD. Management (Hospitality & Tourism). Full time. $65,000 – $75,000 per year. Toucan Coffee Upper Coomera is a local café with a strong focused on quality and customer service. We are currently seeking Café Manager to oversee the operation of the café.

This is a full-time position and must have a seven-day a week flexibility including weekends, public holidays, early opening and closings. As a café manager, you are responsible for the café’s operational efficiency and its employees. You will focus on the quality and exceptional customer experience and strive to exceed expectations.

The key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to Responsible for staff training & development, rostering and Managing employee performance. Providing teams with a positive and supportive workplace. Performing day to day cash and stock management, purchasing and profitability and sales target. Arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget. Ensuring effective communication with staff, customers and suppliers. Maintain exceptional presentation and daily running of the store to the highest WH&S standard and Food Safety Compliance. Ensuring the customer focused service is maintained by all the employees. Work with kitchen staff & Director to gain strong understanding of the menu, create the special menu, marketing tends, costing and profit margins. General operations including take bookings, greeting customers and assisting the customer orders.

To be successful in this position you should possess the following attributes: Preferably a bachelor's degree in hospitality management or in this field (not essential). A keen interest in long term career progression within the business. A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar management role in hospitality industry. Proficient in the use of Restaurant management systems and Digital marketing platforms. Full time including weekends, public holidays, early openings and closings. Strong organizational and leadership skills and demonstrated ability to lead by example. Able to work calmly in high pressure situations. Demonstrated hands-on operational experience and the ability to hit the ground running. Demonstrated ability to train and coach and develop staff.

Salary package range AUD$65,000 – AUD$75,000 + Superannuation.
