Field mechanic helper (Service Technician)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Day
Salary: $15.00 to $16.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week, Dental Benefits, Life Insurance Benefits, Group Insurance Benefits
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Aberfoyle, Ontario, Ontario (1 vacancy)
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Driver's licence
Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Trades Helper Experience: Installation, Maintenance, Repair
Area of Specialization: Heavy equipment
Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Specific Skills: Move tools, equipment and other materials, Clean work areas and equipment, Perform miscellaneous labouring activities to help tradespersons, apprentices and other workers as directed
Own Tools/Equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety boots
Work Site Environment: Outdoors, At heights
Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence
Essential Skills: Reading text, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others
Other Information:DZ License an asset, Boom Operator, Welding experience. Deliver, install, maintenance & repairs to loading dock equip, O/H Doors. Req'd to work outdoors. Req'd to work on ladders/ aerial equip.
