Accredited Exercise Physiologist, Health Moves Exercise Physiology. Cairns, Cairns & Far North QLD. Physiotherapy, OT & Rehabilitation (Healthcare & Medical). Full time. $65,000 – $90,000 per year. At Health Moves, Cairns, we pride ourselves on exceeding our clients' expectations, ensuring they receive the best possible outcomes. Our private clinic in Parramatta Park boasts consultation rooms and a fully-equipped gym for on-site exercise delivery and group sessions. Additionally, we provide outreach services in Mossman, Port Douglas and surrounding areas.

Our services include one-on-one and group hydrotherapy at local pools, catering to a diverse clientele, including Private clients, Medicare, NDIS, Workcover, and Department of Veteran Affairs.

You'll be joining a team of three experienced exercise physiologists, supported by a practice manager and administration assistant. We offer a mentorship program for new graduates and provide generous in-house and external professional development opportunities. Our current practitioners have special interest in women's health, diabetes and paediatrics.

What's Involved in the position? Conducting high-quality assessments and prescribing exercise programs tailored to meet clients' needs and goals. Providing personalized lifestyle modification advice. Delivering group exercise programs such as diabetes programs, falls prevention, and osteoporosis. Conducting hydrotherapy sessions, including 1:2 and group sessions. Ensuring integrated service delivery by communicating effectively with team members to achieve client outcomes. Collaborating with team members to develop, improve, and implement programs. Participating in regular professional development and team planning.

Qualifications & Experience: Tertiary degree or equivalent in exercise physiology. Accreditation with ESSA. Current first aid and CPR certification.
