AFlash Fire, a leading provider of fire safety solutions in the Inner-West region of Sydney, is seeking a skilled and experienced Dry Fire Technician to join our dedicated team. Responsibilities: Troubleshooting and repairs on fire detection and alarm systems. Fitout of fire detection and alarm systems, emergency and exit lighting and other electrical fire systems. Programming of Fire Detection Systems. Conduct comprehensive testing and inspections of various fire detection and alarm systems in accordance with AS1851-2012 and other applicable standards.

Desirable (not required) Qualifications and Skills: Electrical trade qualification - showcasing proficiency in electrical systems and their integration with fire protection systems. Fire Safety Assessor (FSA) accreditation - indicating the ability to assess and evaluate fire safety measures and systems in accordance with regulatory requirements. FPAS (Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme) - highlighting a comprehensive understanding of fire protection systems and recognition as a qualified fire protection practitioner.

Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of experience as Dry Fire Technician in the fire protection industry. In-depth knowledge of various fire detection and alarm systems, equipment, and technologies, including fire detection and alarm systems, sprinkler systems, extinguishers, emergency lighting and gas suppression systems. Strong understanding of relevant codes and regulations, such as AS1851-2012, Building Code of Australia (NCC) and industry standards. Proficiency in conducting system tests and inspections, diagnosing faults, and implementing appropriate repairs and upgrades.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex systems and identify effective solutions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders. Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
