The Company: TalentLink are exclusively partnering with one of Australia’s largest specialty producers, a highly successful and fast-growing company headquartered in Brisbane inner norther suburbs. They are experiencing rapid and sustained business growth, a force to be reckoned with in their niche market, growing through tailored and intelligent asset acquisitions.

Due to this growth and business restructuring they are looking for an experienced Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager/Lead with a passion for business improvement and a strategic mindset to build a strong FP&A team that supports business operations.

Position Available: This is a newly created FP&A Manager role that will report to the Group Financial Controller. You will lead the financial planning and analysis team of 3, providing financial analysis support to multiple stakeholders and suites.

Your initial responsibilities will be establishing a Financial Planning and Analysis central function within the finance department, establishing a planning, budgeting and forecasting cycle including preparation of an annual business plan.  Your team will build strong robust relationships with, senior finance and Business Unit GM’s and site staff to improve efficiency, profitability and commercial outcomes in line with the strategic business vision.

Key Duties will also include: Leading and managing a new team of Financial and Business Analysts. Budgeting and forecasting. Review of P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow. Producing project models for long-term growth. Analysing financial and operational results. Business Partnering with Key GM’s to build their annual budgets and monthly rolling forecasts. Delivery of competitor analysis, market trends and associated commentary to the Leadership team. Working closely with the investment and leadership team to formulate the business's financial and strategic plan.

About you: We are looking for an analytical and motivated individual who is CPA or CA qualified, with 5+ years’ experience leading an FP&A function.

You will also have: Knowledge and experience in FP&A in a large corporate enterprise. Demonstrate leadership experience. Strong communication and influencing skills with stakeholders and Business Leaders. Experience utilising Power BI and Advanced Excel. Passion for business improvement, automation, data analytics. Demonstrate a high level of accuracy and organisational skills. A proactive approach with the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
