QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking a highly motivated project manager with a minimum 3 years of application, database, and web development experience - specifically in Microsoft technologies. This individual must have strong organization skills, strong leadership skills and must work well in a team environment.
As a Project Manager in Mobile Development at Avanti, you will have a lot on your plate. Projects will range from prototype application development to customized integration with 3rd party hosted interfaces, hosted services, reporting services and back-end processes.
• BS degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 2 or more years of experience in iOS and Android Development
• 5 or more years of experience in software product and/or project management with two years of software-related leadership experience.
• Ability to create concept mock-ups, storyboards, process flow diagrams.
• Well-developed requirements gathering and technical documentation skills.
• Experience building and deploying enterprise applications is a must.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Objective-C, C++ and Java
• Experience with Windows Forms & WPF is essential.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with SQL Server in a production environment including relational database design, implementation and maintenance.
• End-to-end experience in the design and development of commercial software products, including client development, user interface, application tier, and database tier.
• Experience working in the Agile Development methodology as well as more formal SDLC. Avanti primarily uses the Agile methodology.
• Able to clearly define and communicate IT industry standards, processes and best practices.
• Ability to set up, configure, and maintain own hardware environments.
• Experience with online and in-store retail systems an asset.
• Experience with mobile development on any platform an asset.
• Proficient in the English language with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are a must… SERIOUSLY.
