Remuneration value up to $71 434.00 p.a. (L13-L18), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%), annual leave loading (17.5%), professional development allowance, motor vehicle allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a.pro rata, plus private practice arrangements

Purpose of the role Assist in the provision of an effective, efficient and equitable General Practitioner Breast Surgery service within the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service.

Your opportunity We are looking for a Senior Medical Officer (FRACGP/FACRRM) to facilitate the delivery of high-quality care to patients referred to the General Surgery Breast Unit within the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service.

It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against the following vaccine preventable diseases during their employment (Health Employment Directive No. 01/16): measles, mumps, rubella (MMR), varicella (chicken pox), pertussis (whooping cough), hepatitis B, tuberculosis.
